SARAJEVO, Oct 21 (Hina) - NATO Secretary-General George Robertson on Thursday said Stabilisation Force in Bosnia-Herzegovina (SFOR) would continue carrying out its current mission in this country. NATO regards that it has achieved

NATO regards that it has achieved success in Bosnia as it put an end
to the fighting in that country and showed to people which
opportunities peace offers them, Robertson told reporters in
Sarajevo after he visited SFOR troops.
Robertson added that regardless of the achieved progress, Bosnia
needed much more joint efforts, fight against corruption and a

Asked about the reduction of the number of international troops in
Bosnia, NATO Secretary-General answered that the sufficient number

Speaking of a recent SFOR operation in southern city of Mostar,
Robertson described it as an excellent example how multinational
forces can take joint action in interest of stability.
Those who breech laws and Dayton Accords will be a target of SFOR in
the future as well, he told reporters.
Commenting on the situation in Kosovo, Robertson said the
international community including the Alliance wants the
restoration of a multiethnic society in that region.
