HR-TALKS-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3408 BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3408HINA Zagreb 10 October, 1999CRO ECONOMY MINISTER MEETS JORDAN'S FINANCE, ECONOMY MINISTERSZAGREB, Oct 10 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges on Sunday, the second day of his visit to Jordan, held talks with Jordanian Finance Minister Michel Marto, the Croatian Economy Ministry said in a statement. The two ministers pointed to the necessity of signing as soon as possible an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation. Porges acquainted Finance Minister Marto of the claims of Croatian companies in countries of the region, and discussed the possibility of joint Croatian-Jordanian presentations on other markets. Porges today signed with Jordanian Economy Minister Mohamed Asfour an agreement on the stimulation and mutual protection of investments, and one on trade.
