Croatian firms have been noticed not to be checking, to a sufficient
extent, the credit rating and solvency of their new business
partners. That's why they later find themselves in a position of not
being able to cash sold goods or services.
An increasing number of firms have become non-transparent and
declined to cooperate in making their financial data available, the
Intercredit added. Analysts of this company maintain that foreign
investors are increasingly concerned about a possibility that
inflation might break out in Croatia.
Intercredit also noticed a very dangerous tendency in the country
toward the cessation of production and further activities of
firms.
