ZAGREB, July 6 (Hina) - About a hundred workers of NAMA, a chain of department stores, on Tuesday morning blocked the entrance into the NAMA management's offices in Vlaska Street in Zagreb, preventing the management's members from
entering the building and insisting on their resignations, as they believe that the management is responsible for the difficult position of NAMA employees. A trade union leader, Amalija Jelic, claimed that members of the management, Dragica Novosel and Ante Dedic, should be held as the most accountable for the problems in NAMA. While workers have been receiving on average about 1700 kuna ($230) as their salaries plus 700-kuna vouchers for goods to be bought in NAMA for years, the management led by Dedic and Novosel gave recently 24,000 kuna (3,287 dollars) as a bonus to themselves, Jelic added.
