SPLIT SPLIT, June 18 - The trial of the so-called "Maglov Group" for the military smuggling of stolen vehicles and groceries ended before the Split County Court on Friday. Twelve members of the "Maglov Group" were sentenced to between three months and three years in prison, while another four members were acquitted. Ranko Rapajic was sentenced to three years in prison, Zeljko Maglov to two years, and Zoran Dozdor to 16 months in jail. Gojko Zivkovic, charged with smuggling sugar from Bosnia-Herzegovina to Croatia, received the one-year non-suspended sentence. Vlado Balic, Nenad Matijas, and Zoran Vujcic, received suspended jail sentences, six moths each, while Branko Grubisic and Vinko Slamic, charged with organised smuggling of vehicles, bearing military police registration plates, were sentenced to eight months, with the probation of one year.
