"This is an initial meeting".
Last week, Croatia and Slovenia reported that they had agreed to
determining mutual borders in the Pyran Bay and that they would seek
an advisory opinion of the former US defence minister.
The move is intended as a step forward in resolving the problem
which has burdened mutual relations since the secession of the two
countries.
Perry will not have a role of an international arbitrator but rather
an advisor-mediator who is to help the two sides come to an
agreement on the demarcation of the sea border which will satisfy
both countries.
