ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's House of Counties on Tuesday discussed amendments to the act on small business and proposed to the House of Representatives to consider the amendments in the regular rather
than urgent procedure. Members of the Sabor upper house assessed that proposed amendments are stricter and more unfair to handicraftsmen and small business owners in comparison to duties imposed on entrepreneurs by the act on companies. Under the suggested changes, small business owner should guarantee for the soundness of his business by his entire property rather than by assets necessary for his work which has been so far regulated by the act on companies. The Upper House ended its 27th session by voting on this matter and other bills discussed by MPs last week. (hina) jn ms
