on Thursday opened the third Euro-Mediterranean conference, which
was for the first time attended by Croatia.
Fisher pointed to the significance of the political connection
between the European Union and Mediterranean countries, adding the
European Union would soon offer a joint strategy for the
Mediterranean.
Commenting on the Kosovo crisis, Fisher said that the issue in

The Conference is attended by more than 500 officials, mostly
foreign ministers of countries-participants.
Croatia, represented by the head of the European Integrations
Section at the Croatian Foreign Ministry, Andrej Plenkovic, has the
status of diplomatic guest.
