UCKA TUNNEL, April 9 (Hina) - It is the stance of the Croatian Government that tolls on the "Istrian Epsilon" highway should not have to be paid on at least one section of the road. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary to
change the concession contract, Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications Minister, Zeljko Luzavec, said on Friday after talks with representatives of the Istrian County, Istrian MPs and officials of the contractor company, Bina-Istra. What will be changed and under what conditions depends on an agreement reached with the contractor, as well as foreign banks which have set aside most of the funds for completing the first phase of construction of the highway, Luzavec said.
