ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - A session of the Defence and National Security Council was held on Friday in Zagreb under chairmanship of the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic informed the Council of
his talks held in Washington and his participation in a conference on Kosovo held in Bonn on Thursday, the President's Office reported. During the discussion it was confirmed that Croatia had solidified its international position and partner-like relations with the United States, and that the country had come closer to joining the Partnership for Peace and the World Trade Organisation. It was also stressed that resolute measures had been undertaken to preserve economic and social stability.
