VARAZDIN VARAZDIN, March 13 (Hina) - A branch of the Croatian-Chinese Friendship Society was established in Varazdin County, northern Croatia, on Friday. A deputy county prefect, Miroslav Hreljac, was elected for the branch's
president. The establishment of this branch was initiated by the Croatian-Chinese Friendship Society and the co-ordination of Croatian friendship societies. Present at Friday's founding assembly was Chinese Ambassador to Croatia, Li Guobang. During his visit to Varazdin, Ambassador Guobang opened an exhibition of a young artist from Zagreb, Nadina Karafilipovic, staged in the gallery of the Youth Forum of the Social and Democratic Party (SDP).(hina) ms
