VIENNA, Feb 17 (Hina) - An international arbitration commission dealing with the status of the north-eastern Bosnian town of Brcko on Wednesday concluded the hearings of witnesses who made their suggestions with regard to the town's
future status. Over the last ten days, opinions on the matter were voiced by representatives of the international community, international organisations active in Bosnia, non-government organisations, Brcko officials, and the leaders of the Bosnian Serb entity, the Bosnian Federation, and Bosnia-Herzegovina. International arbiter Robert Owen, who presided the Vienna hearings, has not been bound by a deadline for passing a decision on Brcko. Diplomatic sources close to the negotiators says the decision will most probably be made public by March 15. Both the Bosnian Serb entity and the Croat-Muslim Federation expect Owen's decision will this time be final.(hina)
