ZAGREB, Feb 3 (Hina) - The 52nd international fair of textile and supporting industries, Intertekstil 99, and the 48th international week of leather, opened at the Zagreb Fair on Wednesday. Almost 400 exhibitors from Croatia and 17
other countries will present the ready-made clothes, knitwear, equipment for fabric industry and innovations of the leather and shoe industries. Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges opened the fairs. Porges stressed that two industrial branches - leather and textile - made 20 percent of Croatia's total export in 1998.
