antibiotics. These antibiotics should battle the problem of forming an immunity to antibiotics, Pliva said Monday. The memorandum stressed the readiness of the two companies to initiate a three-year cooperation which will include scientists from Zagreb, Vienna, Verona and Stevenage. A formal cooperation agreement will be signed at the end of March. The two companies will be working on the development of antibiotics, including the first phase of clinical testing, after which Glaxo-Wellcome will take over the responsibility of further clinical development, that is, the second and third phases.
