VUKOVAR, Jan 19 (Hina) - Eight persons exhumed from mass graves in the Croatian Danube region were identified from a total of 272 photographs viewed by more than a thousand people. The photographs were made available by the Government
Commission for Missing and Imprisoned Persons. Commission Head Ivan Grujic said the list of missing Croatian persons contains another 1,795 names. People who carried out the preliminary identification of their loved ones from photographs will be asked to positively identify the bodies by the Croatian red Cross and Ministry of Croatian Homeland War Soldiers. Photographs are available by January 25 in Vukovar, and will then be transported to Split, Pula and Zagreb.(hina) lml jn
