Autor: ;MSES;
PRISTINA, Dec 24 (Hina) - Roman Catholic Bishop of Prizren (Kosovo) was quoted on Sunday by a daily "Bota Sot" as calling for the fight against violence in the area. Roman Catholic Bishop Mark Sopi said that after the victory had been achieved in Kosovo, resolute endeavours should be made to discontinue violence. Kosovo is predominantly inhabited by ethnic Albanians who are Moslem believers. However, some Albanians and a tiny ethnic Croatian community (reduced to about 750 families after the long Serbian oppression and the armed conflict) are the Catholic faithful. Serb inhabitants belong to th Serbian Orthodox Church. On the occasion of Christmas holidays, the Roman Catholic Church has organised several events and two of them which took part in Zjum and Letnica drew four thousand people each. University of Pristina has also organised several meetings and symposiums to mark the 2000th
