ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linic told the government on Thursday the purchase of this year's wheat crop had been completed successfully and that the payment was more than satisfactory. Linic, who heads a government wheat purchase commission, said the purchase model which had been chosen was a good one, and that more than 400,000 tonnes had been purchased. The crop was purchased by two companies, Agrokor and In-Cubo. Ninety-nine percent was purchased by the end of November, i.e. almost 400 million kuna ($45.98m). Against last year, the amount purchased is much higher. Payment was also expedited and was mostly done in August and September. Linic said In-Cubo could still take over another 60,000 tonnes, of which half would be okayed for export. "I see I won't have to resort to personnel changes for the two ministers to swap places, but if they fail to continue cooperating, it remains a possibility."
