CROATIAN, SLOVENE PRESIDENTS TO HOLD WORKING MEETING WEDNESDAY

LJUBLJANA, Nov 21 (Hina) - Croatian and Slovene presidents Stipe Mesic and Milan Kucan respectively will hold a working meeting in Bizeljsko, Slovenia, on Wednesday. According to the Office of the Slovene President, the main topic of the meeting will be the Zagreb Summit and new opportunities in South-East Europe and not bilateral issues. The two presidents have met six times this year. President Kucan will not attend the EU-Western Balkans meeting in Zagreb, to be held on Friday, November 24, and the country will be represented by Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle. According to Slovene diplomatic sources, Ljubljana had expected that the issue of succession to the former Yugoslav federation would be among the priorities of the Zagreb meeting.(hina) rml
