renovated with the financial assistance of Zagreb County, ends with a gold-plated apple and cross. So far, Zagreb County has spent 11 million kuna for the reconstruction of this church, damaged during the Serb occupation, but according to estimates the reconstruction of this church, which was regarded as one of the most beautiful religious facilities in Croatia before the war, will cost 65 million kuna. The renovated dome was consecrated by a former guardian of Friars' Vukovar-based monastery, Branimir Kosec, an eyewitness of the Serb shelling of the church and monastery.
