PLOCE, Nov 8 (Hina) - The harbour in the southern-most Adriatic town of Ploce got a state-of-the-art liquid cargo terminal, a 40 million kuna investment on the harbour's part, with assistance from international companies delivering
fuel for neighbouring Bosnia. The new terminal is expected to become functional by the end of the month, Ploce harbour director general Ivica Pavlovic said on Wednesday. In cooperation with future users, it has already been agreed the harbour will receive about 220,000 tonnes of liquid cargo, thus significantly raising the harbour's annual business. Cooperation contracts with international companies supplying Bosnia with fuel will significantly improve the storing and transport of liquid goods, Pavlovic said. Goods formerly delivered via Slovenia's northern Adriatic port of Koper will now pass via Ploce, which is much cheaper and closer to the final destination. T
