BERLIN, Oct 26 (Hina) - Croatia does not need charity, but rather direct investments into economy resources on a profit basis, in which we have Germany's support, Croatian President Stipe Mesic said in Berlin Thursday night. At a
lecture Mesic held at the German foreign policy society on the subject of political changes in Croatia -- Croatia's role in the Europe of tomorrow, Mesic said Croatia did not have sufficient capital partly because a part of resources had "dripped out" of the country due to the wrong concept of privatisation. Mesic expressed his views on the causes of the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia and basic goals of Croatia's foreign policy. "Europe is our choice, but our destiny as well," Mesic said.
