SARENGRAD, Oct 11 (Hina) - Peasants from the eastern Croatian villages of Lovas, Mohovo, Sarengrad, Bapska and Opatovac who claim that Osijek-based company In-cubo owes them over two million kuna (DM0.5 million) for the payment of
this year's wheat crop, blocked the state highway, Vukovar-Ilok, near Sarengrad, at 9AM Wednesday. We wish to warn the Croatian public and state officials about the non-fulfilling of commitments and a difficult position of peasants, the protesters said. The peasants expect the arrival of secretary of the Association of Peasants of Slavonia and Baranja Stanko Zdravcevic. The Association is the organiser of the protest.(hina) it
