Ivanetic was unable to interview Andabak yesterday. The suspect was reportedly so exhausted that he was unable to understand the charges brought against him. A general of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Croat Defence Council, Andabak was arrested in the Karlovac area on Tuesday on suspicion of involvement in drug smuggling, and not war crimes on BH territory as was speculated in the media. The Defence Ministry said today that Andabak was not an active member of the Croatian Army at the time of his arrest, as the media had reported. Andabak has been linked with the smuggling of 665 kg of cocaine seized in the northern Adriatic city of Rijeka last December. (hina) ha
