The agreement was signed in Novalja on the central Adriatic island

The ships were discovered yesterday by the Italian divers 80 metres

According to the agreement, the Italian divers are obligated to

Italian divers' representatives have said they very much
appreciate this cooperation with the Croatian ministry, adding it
is an example of a modern approach to and progress in dealing with
discovery locations of this kind.
Croatian Culture Ministry representatives believe the most
important thing at the moment is to protect the ships from possible
pillage and train Croatian divers to be able to protect such
locations.
