Details of the visit have not yet been discussed. It is certain, however, that the Croatian state delegation will have an opportunity to hold talks with United States President Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. In the United States Congress, the Croatian officials will hold talks with members of the committee for foreign policy. representatives of numerous Washington non-governmental

The Croatian President and Prime Minister are also to hold talks
with secretary general of the organisation of the American states
Cesar Gavirio. They are also to meet representatives of Croatian
emigrants in the United States.
President Mesic is expected to present several United States
officials with high Croatian decorations.
