THE BRIJUNI ISLANDS, July 14 (Hina) - The Management Council of the Brijuni Islands National Park at Friday's session discussed a development concept of the archipelago and the northern Adriatic, composed by Croatian Minister for European Integration Ivan Jakovcic. In line with Jakovcic's motion, the Brijuni Islands should become world's meeting spot for entrepreneurs, the political and cultural elite by giving the concession to world's multinational companies for about 50 villas on the Brijuni Islands. According to Minister Jakovcic, the project could be implemented in the next five to seven years, and it could realise profit of at least US$150 million annually.
