PRICES OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS RISE IN CROATIA

Autor: ;MSES;
ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - After the midnight of May 31, retail prices of petroleum products climbed between 13.7 and 31.7 percent. The only reason for the price rise is an increase in excise duties on petrol, reported Croatia's oil company INA. For instance, the price of 'super 98' gas rose from 5.47 kuna per litre to 7.18 kuna by 31.3 percent. The price of lead-free gas "normal 91" now is 6.29 kuna after it was 4.83 kuna. According to INA, the increase in excise duties has changed the ratio of what remains in INA from retail price and what is given to the state budget. With lead-free gas, the current ratio is 64.3:35.7 in favour of the budget as against the previous 54:46. With 'eurodiesel', the ratio is 59.5:40.5 compared to the previous 54:46, INA reported.(hina) mm ms
