FLORENCE FLORENCE, May 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino Picula held talks with his Danish colleague Helveg Petersen in Florence, Italy, on Wednesday afternoon. Minister Petersen expressed Denmark's willingness to
participate in assistance programmes for Croatia, through the European Union and bilaterally, Picula told reporters. The Croatian minister announced Premier Racan would make an official visit to Copenhagen in early July. Picula arrived in Florence to sign on Thursday Croatia's access to NATO's Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme. Before signing, he will hold talks with United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Later he is to hold several bilateral meetings, among else with British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook.
