OSIJEK OSIJEK, May 12 (Hina) - A conference of chancellors of the Alps-Adriatic Working Community, gathering representatives of 21 universities from Austria, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Slovenia and Croatia, opened in Osijek on Friday.
The main topic of the conference is the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and participants will also discuss scholarships, university libraries and information systems. An assistant to Croatia's Science and Technology Minister, Darko Polsek, said he was confident that similar events would help integrate Croatian universities into regional and wider European associations.
