ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - Croatian European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic on Monday held a lecture at the Zagreb Faculty of Law to the subject "Croatia in Europe: Why, How, When -- Legal and Economic Aspects of Joining EU". "Today Croatia needs a collective agreement and pact for Europe of all its political and intellectual forces, so we all could agree Europe was our only future," Jakovcic said. The European Integration Ministry will draft a national strategy for preparations to access the European Union, an analyses of expenses and benefits of these processes, and the public's views will be researched, Jakovcic announced. "Europe can bring about many benefits, but also some problems so Croatian citizens must be acquainted with this," he said. Croatia could become a full member of the EU in 2006.
