Asked by reporters whether the HDZ was working in line with Tudjman's legacy, Kosor said: "Yes, of course."
We are accomplishing the aspirations expressed by the first Croatian president Franjo Tudjman, primarily the goal of the completion of the (EU accession negotiations and Croatia's admission to the European Union," she said.
Kosor recalled that as early as in the 1980s Tudjman spoke and wrote about Croatia joining the community of the European states and that this would be Croatia's future.
The wreath-laying ceremony was held on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the HDZ party.
The ruling party would organise a central ceremony marking this anniversary in Zagreb on Friday evening.
