LJUBLJANA, Feb 9 (Hina) - Slovene President Milan Kucan will on February 18 attend the inauguration of Croatia's newly-elected President Stipe Mesic. First bilateral talks between the two countries on the presidential level will be
held on that occasion. According to a statement issued by Kucan's cabinet on Wednesday, Kucan's attendance was agreed on in a phone conversation with Mesic, who personally invited his counterpart to the inauguration ceremony. President Mesic confirmed that he was interested in Slovenia being one of the first countries he would visit. Mesic was also interested in the institution of the President of the Republic in Slovenia.(hina) rml
