The new government can expect full support from us in taking difficult and unpleasant steps in the initial period after taking over authority and responsibility, said Croatian Chamber of Commerce president Nadan Vidosevic. "We shall be very successful if this year we manage to stop negative trends, and not endanger the present level of social rights. It is this year's biggest battle, so that in 2001 we may continue to expect realistic economic growth and a higher employment rate," said Vidosevic. (hina) ha mm
