ZAGREB, Feb 8 (Hina) - "The people has chosen. The voters have said what they want and there is nothing left for to do but accept it," Deputy Prime Minister Zeljka Antunovic said upon learning first unofficial election results early
on Tuesday morning. Asked whether the election of Stipe Mesic as Croatia's President would be an obstacle to the Government in the implementation of its programme, Antunovic said, "it will not be an obstacle because Mr Mesic is a member of the coalition which at the moment is in power and has a parliamentary majority."(hina) rml
