SARAJEVO, Jan 18 (Hina) - A flu epidemic has been pronounced in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday after a great increase of diseased persons were registered in the past several days, federal Health Minister Bozo Ljubic
told a news conference in Sarajevo. Ljubic said more than five thousand infected people have been registered so far. The Health Ministry has ordered urgent measures to prevent the spread of infection. Ljubic recalled everything had been done on time to prevent the epidemic, including vaccinating more than 100,000 people.
