A series of NATO members, notably new ones, including Croatia, should make decisions on combat airplanes. The fact is, however, that the budgets of those countries are limited and they will explore possibilities of joint efforts in that field, said Bozinovic, who was attending a ministerial meeting of the Alliance's members.
Representatives of the 28-member NATO were discussing further reforms of the alliance, NATO operations in Libya and Afghanistan, cooperation with Russia and other topics at their meeting on Wednesday and Thursday.
On the margins of the event, Bozinovic held talks with his counterparts Artis Pabriks of Latvia and Anu Anguelov of Bulgaria. On Wednesday, Bozinovic and Pabriks signed a general military cooperation agreement.
