LONDON, Dec 18 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic said in London on Tuesday that he had heard that retired Croatian General Ante Gotovina, indicted by the Hague-based war crimes tribunal, was allegedly in Canada. he added he
believed Gotovina should turn himself in to the tribunal. After his meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Mesic told reporters "if he is (in Canada), I still believe it would be better is he turned up before the Hague tribunal himself, without being apprehended by Interpol or any other police in the world."
