ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - A total of 42,093,248 overnights were recorded on the Croatian coast between January and November this year, which is an increase of ten percent as against 2000, the National Tourist Board said on Friday.
Foreigners accounted for most of the overnights, a total of 37,535,993, which is a 12-percent increase. Domestic tourists, with 4,557,255 overnights, recorded a decline of one percent. Among the foreign tourists, the most numerous were the Germans, followed by the Slovenes, Czech, Italians, Austrians, Poles, Hungarians, Slovaks, the Dutch, and those from Bosnia and Herzegovina.(hina) ha sb
