The chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and the Rights of National Minorities, Furio Radin, believes a lot has to be done in Croatia in the area of human rights. He also believes special attention must be paid to the protection of children's rights, the prevention of the abuse of women, the rights of disabled persons and the protection of the poor. He said the committee would focus on the passing of a constitutional law on the rights of minorities and the protection of the right to return, regardless of nationality. (hina) it sb
