VUKOVAR: MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR KILLED SERBS VUKOVAR, Nov 16 (Hina) - The Vukovar Association of Serb War Victims and the Serb Democratic Independent Party (SDSS) municipal committee organised a memorial service for killed Vukovar Serbs
in the eastern Croatian town on Friday. SDSS president Vojislav Stanimirovic said he would not attend the ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the fall of the town, to be held on Sunday, November 18. "Nobody invited me and the mayor told me I had nothing to do there," said Stanimirovic, adding Croats had not been invited to today's ceremony either. Around 1,000 Vukovar Serbs, of whom 80% were civilians, were killed in Vukovar during the war. We wish Croats and Serbs could find a location where tribute would be paid to all killed Vukovar civilians, but the other side has not shown understanding for that, Stanimirovic said.(hina) sb rml
