ZAGREB, Sept 24 (Hina) - Croatian State Prosecutor Radovan Ortynski on Monday confirmed that a motion had been submitted to the State Judicial Council (DVS) to lift immunity off the president of the Bjelovar County Court, Vladimir
Gredelj, for suspicion of abuse of office and authority. On September 13, the state prosecution filed a motion with the DSV for Gredelj to be relieved of immunity he was granted as court president, based on a Bjelovar County Prosecutor request for investigation of Gredelj. Gredelj withdrew his candidacy for presidency of the Bjelovar County Court, claiming the proceedings against him "are rigged and politically motivated."(hina) lml
