ZAGREB, Sept 11 (Hina) - The terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre in new York and other targets is not the usual terrorist action, but rather a thought-out attack aimed at claiming the lives of innocent victims, Croatian
President Stipe Mesic said Tuesday. "We may call this a horror. This is no usual terrorism, this is a long, thought-out planned crime. And what is most important, they wanted to claim the lives of innocent people," Mesic told reporters. They not only attacked the country's symbols, but also people on their working places, he added. Asked whether America partially caused this attack through its foreign policy, Mesic said "no one policy can be condemned in this way or force somebody to change their policy through terrorism". "This is an unprecedented crime," Mesic stressed, adding that at the time when solutions were being sought for hot spots, this crime seems especially absurd," the president asserted
