LJUBLJANA, Sept 5 (Hina) - The Slovene Foreign Ministry reported today the Croatian Ambassador to Slovenia, Celestin Sardelic, was handed a note about the agreement on border traffic and cooperation with Croatia will be coming into
effect. The application of the agreement would mean the opening of 27 border crossings for residents on both sides of the border. The Slovene parliament's foreign policy committee today discussed the agreement on the Krsko nuclear power plant, jointly owned by Croatia and Slovenia, but located on Slovene territory. The committee members agreed that the ratification of the agreement be tied to the agreement on borders, whose draft was agreed on by Slovene and Croatian prime ministers Janez Drnovsek and Ivica Racan, but has not yet been signed.(hina) lml
