Economy Minister Djuro Popijac said that as a shareholder in the biggest Croatian oil company, the government had assigned its delegation in charge of conducting the negotiations with the strategic partner MOL on the next round of amending and supplementing the agreement.
The delegation consists of Popijac, Finance Minister Martina Dalic and INA Supervisory Board Chairman Davor Stern.
The economy minister said the aim of the negotiations would be to ensure a more efficient implementation of the goals from the 2003 agreement, retain and strengthen the national energy stability as well as to improve INA's business performance and its position on the markets in the region.
The economy ministry is tasked with submitting a request in writing for launching the negotiations with MOL.
The government decided to be a co-organiser of the first UNWTO conference on tourism and media, scheduled for 12-13 September in Zagreb.
