"The situation in Serbia is stable, but security has been stepped up, primarily in order to protect important institutions such as the special war crimes tribunal, state institutions and foreign institutions' offices," the minister said.
"We have not registered any serious incident so far," he added.
According to the Beta news agency, Mladic, who is in custody in Belgrade awaiting the extradition to the Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal, was examined by Serbian Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, who is a neuropsychiatrist. After the examination she declined to reveal any detail, citing medical confidentiality.
