SPLIT, July 15 (Hina) - The Split-Dalmatia County Police said on Sunday they had confiscated 22 kilos of marijuana on Croatia's border crossing with Bosnia on Saturday. The 22 kilos of drugs, which the police seized in Vinjani Donji
near the town of Imotski, was on its way to Zagreb and it is worth between 60 and 70 thousand German marks. Narcotics were found hidden in a car with BH registration plates. A driver, 23-year-old V.S, was arrested together with a 24-year-old passenger S.A. The police pressed criminal charges against them for drug selling and took them to an investigating judge in Split who sent the smugglers in their custody. Both men are Bosnian citizens. They bought marijuana in the southern Bosnian town of Stolac. The police have been following their activities for a longer time period and said two men have, by now, brought 75 kilos of marijuana to Croatia.(hina) np ms
