ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - General Rahim Ademi is willing to appear before the Hague war crimes tribunal if he is on the tribunal's indictment, Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Monday. "If General Ademi is indicted, he is willing to
appear before the Hague tribunal to defend himself, and this government is willing to help with his defence," Racan told a regular press conference in Zagreb. He did not confirm Ademi's name was on two sealed indictments which had arrived from The Hague but reiterated the indictments referred to two Croats. The PM accused the former, pre-2000 government of having damaged Ademi and Croatia by banning him from taking part in interviews with the Hague tribunal. "General Ademi has been prohibited to participate in talks with the Hague tribunal even in written form," Racan said.(hina) ha
