ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - The national coordination of a dozen
associations of Homeland War veterans and societies of families of
killed and missing soldiers has expressed concern about the fact
that the Croatian government has for one month kept secret the
existence of the two sealed indictments served by the ICTY to
Zagreb, and assesses that Croatia is facing again a watershed in its
recent history adding that "this is a historic issue of its

"With the latest requests of the Hague Tribunal, many open issues
have been posed before the Croatian people such as - the issue of
ethics, honour and the statehood itself," read a statement issued
by the co-ordinating body of the 12 associations on Saturday
night.
This coordination expresses support to all parliamentary and non-
parliamentary parties as well as non-governmental organisations
which oppose the hand-over of the Croatian war veterans.
It asks the government to disclose names of all indictees and urges
the Sabor to hold an extra-ordinary session on the issue.
