ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - After taking a vote on several bills which were discussed last Friday, the Croatian parliament on Wednesday continued its 13th session with a debate about a draft on formulating changes to the Constitutional
Law on the Constitutional Court. Under the draft, the Constitutional Court would be adjusted to constitutional changes adopted in March, which increased the number of Constitutional Court judges from 11 to 13 and widened the powers of the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court has taken over some powers of the abolished House of Counties which means that in the future units of local self-government could seek the protection of their rights at the Constitutional Court.(hina) sb rml
