ZAGREB, June 28 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic applauded today's extradition of former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic to the Hague-based war crimes tribunal. "I am certainly not shedding any tears over the
extradition," Mesic said. Belgrade's Radio B92 and subsequently Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic said Milosevic was taken to The Hague this afternoon. His current whereabouts are, however, unknown. Mesic asserted "the important thing is that it is clear the guilt will be completely individualised and it begins from the very top." "The Hague tribunal must do what the Nuernberg process did after WWII -- convict individual people for concrete crimes," Croatian President added.(hina) lml
